The SAG awards had a lot to live up to after the Golden Globes! The event showcased natural and elegant looks which define bridal beauty. To be honest this is our favorite time of year especially if you love weddings. There are so many new styles and looks for every type of bride. Whether you want to look edgy on your wedding day or if you’re more traditional there is a look for you! These are the celebs that inspired us…who inspired you?

Nude and pale pinks dominated the SAG awards which are the perfect match for our traditional/romantic bride…

And there was a pop of color with bright pinks and smoky eyes for that edgy bride.

My Fair Wedding- Safari Bride featuring Hair Comes the Bride

It has taken a while for me to get these up on our blog but this is a short clip of Hair Comes the Bride on our first episode of My Fair Wedding with David Tutera! David is such a pro, it was amazing working with him and of course, our gorgeous bride Shelby! Hair Comes the Bride did wedding hair and provided hair accessories for all of the girls, including the bride.

Kim Zolciak’s Wedding Style

Ok, I admit it, I LOVE me some real housewives! It is my guilty pleasure. Orange County, Beverly Hills, New York and of course Atlanta. So, I was very anxious to see what “over the top” Atlanta Housewife Kim Zolciak would wear to her million dollar wedding to Kroy Biermann. I just watched her lavish baby shower on last night’s episode so I figure the wedding had to be even more elaborate. Well, Kim did not disappoint! Kim wore three separate gowns (shown below) equaling a grand total of $92,000! The cleavage was plenty, the wig was long and flowing and the false eyelashes were thick and full and while not my personal style, I thought it suited her well. I always say that the most important thing a bride can do in creating her wedding day look (or looks) is stay true to her own personal style. Kim certainly did that and I thought she looked beautiful! You can catch the nuptials and the days leading up to them when Bravo airs a series of 30 minute episodes called, what else, “Don’t be Tardy for the Wedding” airing sometime in 2012. I can’t wait! Congrats Kim and Kroy!
